The 3121 desktop reader from Omnikey (previously the CardMan CM3121) is a preferred device, when used with suitable software, for enabling data stored on driver's cards to be transferred to PCs.
Designed for repetitive use, this high quality reader is rated to a minimum of 100,000 card insertions and comes with a two-year hardware warranty. The heavy 150g base provides extra stability as well as multiple mounting positions.
This popular reader supports all of the required industry standards, including PC/SC, ISO-7816 and CCID, as well as having Microsoft-approved Windows drivers which are easily installed and updated. Significantly, it is one of the highest speed smartcard readers on the market, making the data download process as efficient as possible.
