The ACOS5 development kit from ACS, offers a cost-effective bundle of cards and readers, complete with appropriate software for deployment and development of PKI applications based around the ACOS5 cryptographic smartcard.
The kit is aimed at users and developers who are interested in creating smartcard-based cryptographic PKI applications. Your application can be developed using supplied PKCS#11 or CSP middleware, thus supporting both Netscape/Mozilla and Microsoft-based environments for secure email and web authentication. The ACOS5 card itself provides up to 32KB EEPROM of secure data storage and is specially designed for enhancing security and performance for RSA public-key cryptographic operations that are essential in smart card PKI, digital signature and high level security requirements.
This development kit includes a CD containing various drivers, middleware and software applications. These include the ACS Card Tool and ACS Smartcard Certificate Manager. The ACR38 series readers are fully PC/SC and EMV Level 1 compliant and support all ISO 7816 microprocessor-based smartcards as well as numerous popular memory cards.
SDK contains:- 10 x ACOS5 (5 x SIM-size knock-out cards)
- 1 x ACR38 IPC USB reader
- 1 x ACR38T-IBS USB SIM reader
- 1 x Cryptomate PKI token
- Development CD
