The Smartboard FingerTIP from Cherry is a high quality UK-layout USB keyboard with integrated biometric fingerprint and smartcard reader. This model (G83-14201) is supplied with a CMOS fingerprint sensor from AuthenTec with True Print technology, supporting password-free log-on and identification applications using fingerprints.
The integrated smartcard reader, which is fully PC/SC and EMV level 1 compliant, provides many additional security features when using applications such as ID verification and secure transactions.
