The Digidown Plus from Lisle Design is a convenient, portable unit for downloading data directly from a digital tachograph vehicle unit (VU). It also includes a built-in card reader to allow driver card downloads on-the-move. The downloaded data can then be transfered to a PC at a later date.
This robust but lightweight device comes complete with the required VU cable connector, and is compatible with all makes of digital tachograph used within Europe. Included in the package is a 128Mb SD memory card, 2 x AA batteries, USB PC connector cable and mounting bracket. The SD card has sufficient memory to hold many years' worth of VU and card data, and/or data from many vehicles and cards.
The downloaded data can be transferred to a PC very easily using the supplied USB transfer cable, especially when used in conjunction with our digitach downloader software EasyTac downloader, which will automatically name and store the files in an appropriate location.
