This Sun Ray smartcard is a low-cost solution for use with Sun's range of thin client devices, supporting features such as smartcard-based identity and hot desk mobility. The standard Sun Ray Server software supports a wide range of smartcards but most of these are expensive or difficult to obtain. Working directly with Sun we have designed this card as an easy alternative that can be purchased in any quantity and printed using any standard smartcard printer.
This version of the Sun Ray smartcard includes a Hi-Co magnetic stripe on the reverse, providing a useful combination that can be used for logical and physical access control and other such applications.
The relevant card script file may already be present on your Sun Ray Server or can otherwise be simply installed by following the instructions provided.
This card offers excellent value to SunRay users and is one of the most competitive on the market.
