The ACR122T is a PC-linked NFC contactless smart card reader/writer in token form. It is developed based on the 13.56 MHz Contactless (RFID) Technology and the ISO/IEC 18092 Standard for Near Field Communication (NFC), supporting not only Mifare, ISO 14443 Type A and B cards but also NFC and FeliCa contactless technologies.
The ACR122T is a USB Plug and Play device with CCID and PC/SC compliance, ensuring interoperability with different systems and applications. It is ideal for secure personal identity verification and online micro-payment transactions. Typical applications of the ACR122T reader include computer log-on, e-payment, home banking and network authentication.
The reading range is up to 3 cm depending on the contactless card or tag. The retractable USB connector and strap hole make it particularly suitable for portable use.
Supports all 3 NFC modes (reader, card emulation and peer-to-peer) and all 4 types of NFC cards and tags.
The ACR122T is compatible with Read-a-Card, the contactless card ID reading application, useful for the integration of RFID technology into new or existing systems.
