The Time Recording Contactless Network Starter Kit from Chipdrive is a complete, low-cost, smartcard-based time management system. This system provides you with the ability to issue cards (contact) and tags (contactless) to users and record work related activities via a network connected terminal. Installation and configuration is quick and easy, and excellent user guides and instructions make this a great 'out-of-the-box' solution for anyone looking to implement a time & attendance system.
The kit contains 1 x network connected, wall mountable dual-interface terminal (mains powered), 25 x user tags/chips, 1 x dual-interface USB smartcard reader and PC management software.
Continuously connected to the server, the networked clocking terminal provides instant access to employee and project data. Once installed configuration of the unit is managed via a web interface making it easy and convenient to administer from any PC on the network. Clocking in and out is fast with the card or tag being processed in a matter of seconds.
The network terminal has a clear and simple interface which displays users with relevant clocking data and allows them to enter specific project codes via the keypad. The intuitive PC software has powerful administration, management and reporting features and provides a quick and easy method for setting up employees cards/tags using the included desktop smartcard reader.
The system is scalable so multiple Network Terminals, additional stand-alone Terminals and configured PC terminals* can be easily integrated based on user requirements.
