The 6221 reader from Omnikey is a portable smartcard reader with a microSD slot and a built-in SIM-sized contact smartcard interface. The combination of a high-speed smartcard reader and a removable microSD memory of up to 32GB enables a wide range of applications inculding data protection, log-on and secure content-issuance. The removable end-cap, which is permanently tethered to prevent loss, enables access to both the SIM and microSD slots.
The Omnikey 6221 reader comes complete with WHQL approved drivers and is compliant with ISO 7816 and EMV 2000 Level I.
