The GemPC USB-SW from Gemalto is a single chip smartcard reader that provides a comprehensive physical and network access solution specifically designed for government orgnanisations. This reader supports ISO7816 Class A, B and C as well as ISO7816 TA1 parameters and is compatible with all major computers and operating systems. Housed in an ergonomic silver casing, the GemPC USB-SW reader is lightweight and yet steady on any desk or surface.
The GemPC USB-SW is EMV 4.0 level 1 compliant and FIPS 201 certified, and enables compliance with the most demanding security mandates, including HSPD-12.
