AET62
The AET62 from ACS is a contactless USB smartcard reader that combines the ACR122U NFC reader with UPEK's swipe fingerprint sensor in a single device. The AET62 utilises three-factor authentication and features a built-in secure access module (SAM) for maximum security.
The reader's default fingerprint algorithm performs fingerprint template extraction and matching within the device itself for protection against various security threats. The AET62 can also support third-party algorithms.
Housed in an ergonomic case, this reader simplifies and makes the integration of secure biometric authentication more cost-effective.
The AET62 supports ISO 14443 Type A and B, Mifare, FeliCa and various NFC card and tags.
Applications to scan fingerprints and store/recall/match them must be developed by the user, using software libraries supplied in the AET62 SDK, which includes cards and a reader.
