OCF

OCF stands for OpenCard Forum, and defines a standard way of interfacing between smartcards and computers. Based on Java, OCF is platform-independent and will work on any Java-enabled device, subject to suitable drivers being made available by reader manufacturers.

On PC's OCF will interface with PC/SC, which allows a PC/SC-enabled PC to run Java-based smartcard applications.
