This ACM1552D-CW WalletMate II Boost reader board has a built-in antenna. It is based on an ACM1552U which has been enhanced, so that it can support the use of mobile wallet passes. It has been certified for Apple VAS (value-added services ECP1.0), Apple ECP2.0 access control and Google Smart Tap applications, such as loyalty schemes, tickets, and staff or student IDs. The ACM1552D-CW is a reader board with a detachable USB cable. An optional RS-232 cable is also available.

The ACM1552 module from ACS is a 13.56 MHz contactless smartcard reader board that supports ISO 14443 type A and B cards, MIFARE, FeliCa, ISO 15693 and ISO 18092-compliant NFC cards and tags. This is the latest evolution of the popular ACM1252. Private keys are stored inside the secure element for Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap. This model also includes a SAM slot to enable a higher-level of security in contactless and NFC transactions. It is designed to integrate into vending machines, kiosks and gaming systems.

The ACM1552 supports modes including card reader/writer, card emulation and keyboard emulation (using a free software download, with the USB interface only).

The ACM1552 is CCID and PC/SC compliant, for maximum interoperability with various different devices and applications.

The basic ACS VAS Test Tool for Windows/Linux is available (from ACS) on request, to allow you to test NFC mobile wallet passes on this reader board.

In order to control the operation of this reader board within an application you will need to develop software. Your application itself will also require approvals before mobile passes can be obtained. If you are developing a mobile wallet application do please contact us and we will be happy to offer advice or help you refine your requirements.
