The IDBridge K30 (formerly the GemPC USB Shell Token V2 from Gemalto) is a USB 2.0 SIM-size smartcard reader offering convenient mobile access to any smartcard in SIM/SAM format.

The IDBridge K30 from Thales is made of tough plastic and can be easily carried on a keyring. It is a plug & play device requiring no additional cabling or wiring. Once inserted, the SIM sized smartcard is held securely under a plastic cover, making it ideal for use in security token and PKI applications.

This reader is ISO7816 compliant and comes complete with WHQL approved Windows drivers, as well as support for other operating systems such as Linux.

This reader now has Thales branding, rather than Gemalto, but is otherwise unchanged from earlier versions.
