The ACR39U-N1 PocketMate II (USB Type-A) is a stylish and compact portable smartcard reader from ACS. The size of a USB stick, the ACR39U-N1 swivels to reveal a slot to read full size contact smartcards.

The ACR39U functionality is not compromised by the size. This reader has read/write speeds of up to 600kbit/s, and works with all ISO 7816 microprocessor-based smartcards as well as many popular memory cards.

Fully compliant with PC/SC and CCID specifications. The pocket-sized reader supports operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

The ACR39U-N1 is a plug and play USB smartcard reader, ideal for identity verification, digital signatures and logical access control.

This folding USB smartcard reader has the same form and functionality as the ACR39U-NF and ACR39U-ND readers, but uses the original USB format (USB-A), rather than USB-C or micro-USB. Standard desktop versions are also available using the same ACR39 chipset.
