The SCR3500 'Smartfold' from SCM is a conveniently sized portable contact smartcard reader. This reader is fully PC/SC and EMV level 1 compliant and supports all ISO 7816 microprocessor-based smartcards as well as a variety of popular memory cards.
The SCR3500 is firmware upgradeable and also meets USB 2.0 and CCID specifications for simple driver installation. WHQL approved Windows drivers are available in addition to ones for most popular operating systems including Linux and OS X.
The clever design of this reader makes it ideal for users managing their various smartcard activities ‘on the move’ and when closed measures only 48mm x 20mm x 12mm.
