The Cosmo V7 128K is a contact technology Java card from Oberthur with 128K on-board EEPROM for application and data storage. Compliant with the latest Java card 2.2.2 and Global Platform 2.1.1 specifications, this is one of the most advanced products in its class.
The Cosmo V7 platform supports RSA key generation up to 2048 bits, and EC-DSA key generation up to 521 bits as well as many other established cryptographic algorithms (DES, 3DES, AES and SHA-1).
These latest cards are also certified to FIPS 140-2 level 3 and Common Criteria EAL5+, making them suitable for the implementation of the most secure applications, as well as extremely powerful general-purpose Java cards.
