The ACOS5 card is an advanced cryptographic smart card that fully complies with ISO 7816-1/2/3/4/8/9 and is specially designed for public-key based applications and for enhancing security and performance for RSA public-key cryptographic operations that are essential in smart card PKI, digital signature and high level security requirements. The ACOS3 card from ACS is a flexible microprocessor smartcard with 16K bytes of EEPROM memory. Backwards compatible with ACOS2, it supports 3 volt operation and PPS speed negotiation. The high degree of security enabled by this card allows users to consider high end payment applications.
For future projects we recommend using the ACOS3-24.

This version includes a built-in contactless Mifare 1K chip too, providing a useful combination that can be used for logical and physical access control and other such applications.
