The ACR1552 from ACS is a 13.56 MHz USB contactless smartcard reader that supports ISO 14443 type A and B cards, MIFARE, FeliCa, ISO 15693 and ISO 18092-compliant NFC cards and tags. This is the AquaGuard version of the popular reader offers dust and temporary water resistance, for operation challenging environments. The ACR1552 boasts faster read/write speeds than the earlier ACR1252 and compatibility with a still wider range of cards.

The ACR1552 supports modes including card reader/writer, card emulation and keyboard emulation (using a free software download).

The ACR1552 is CCID and PC/SC compliant, for maximum interoperability with various different devices and applications. Supports extended APDU messages (up to 64 kbytes).

This ACR1552U model is housed in a white plastic IP67 rated case with a captive cable.
