2009.05.05 - MIFARE wristbands with Velcro strap and MIFARE Ultralight cards
As customer interest in contactless and NFC technology has continued, so has the expansion of the Smartcard Focus product range which now includes both a MIFARE 1K wristband with Velcro strap and MIFARE Ultralight cards. The MIFARE 1K wristband is an ideal secure solution for active environments such as water parks and also has the option for a customisable printed face.
The MIFARE Ultralight card is NFC forum type 2 compliant and is ideal for various low-cost contactless ID and ticketing applications offering MIFARE Ultralight technology in a standard card format.

2009.05.01 - New contactless and low cost BasicCards
Smartcard Focus now stocks the latest Professional BasicCard ZC 7.5 Dual Interface smartcard. This card improves on the current BasicCard range with 32kByte EEPROM memory and 2.9kByte RAM as well as on-card key generation. The card also includes dual interface functionality according to ISO7816 and ISO14443A standards, opening new application areas to the BasicCard range.
Another addition to the Smartcard Focus range is the Enhanced BasicCard ZC3.12 which gives users the option of a high value programmable card ideal for many application types where cost or card replacement may be an issue.

2009.03.30 - New all surface MIFARE Ultralight tag
Following continued interest in contactless and NFC technology Smartcard Focus have further expanded their product range and now supply the MIFARE Ultralight chip in a circular tag format for use on all surfaces including metal, ideal for more robust end-user environments. When attached to a metal surface this tag utilises specially designed shielding to allow continued contactless use without interference and can be attached to surfaces by the adhesive backing or, for a highly secure attachment, by a screw through the central hole.

2009.03.12 - A practical 'on the move' contactless solution from Omnikey
The 6321 USB reader is the latest contactless reader from Omnikey.
